Charlotte Church shows off her bump during supermarket trip with daughter Ruby

Welsh singer Charlotte Church showed off her baby bump last week as she took her daughter Ruby to a local supermarket in Cardiff.

The 22-year-old – dressed in jeans and a beige top – loaded her shopping into her car while the one-year-old sat obediently in a trolley.

Her rugby player partner Gavin Henson was absent from the outing.

Church – who is thought to be five months pregnant - is said to be worried she will balloon during her second pregnancy, after piling on four stone when expecting Ruby.

The star struggled to lose weight after the birth, eventually reaching a healthy size 12 after six months by exercising and eating a healthy diet of fish, meat and lots of vegetables.

In an interview with chat show host Jonathan Ross last month she spoke of her excitement about being a mother for the second time.

She said: 'I want between four and six [children] and Gavin wants eight.

'I want all my babies by the time I'm 32 so then I can have everything done!

'We want to have our babies young and then I'm going to get married and look fabulous for that. We're trying to create a little rugby team.'

Charlotte gave birth to her first child in a birthing pool at her mother's farmhouse home in St Bride's Major, South Wales last September.

Ruby, weighed 6lb 12oz and Henson, now 26, was said to have held her hand throughout the labour.

The couple said they named the little girl Ruby because it's 'precious like a gem'.
