Sharon Stone comes to you for new glasses?

Sharon Stone made one Beverly Hills optician's day yesterday when she popped in for a consultation.

The Basic Instinct actress, 50, stopped by her optician George's Shade Optical clinic to buy a new pair of prescription sunglasses before meeting friends for lunch.

After trying on various pair of shades, a delighted Sharon soon settled on the right ones and praised her optician for his attentive assistance.

After realising she was being photographed by a horde of paparazzi, Sharon happily posed with her rotund optician, who leaned in for a cheeky kiss on the cheek.

She told the photographers George had been looking after her eyes for 25 years

Sharon looked smart and businesslike as she popped in for her consultation, dressed in a cream trousers suit, with her blonde hair swept back into a chignon.

Following her glasses shopping session, Sharon moved on to the celebrity hangout The Ivy for lunch with friends.

Notably absent was Sharon's new toyboy lover Chase Dreyfous, 24, who the actress has been dating since July.

The couple were spotted dining together at Los Angeles eaterie Marmalade Cafe last week.

Sharon has been largely single since divorcing newspaper editor Phil Bronstein in 2004.

She is a mother to adopted sons Roan Joseph, eight; Laird Vonne, three; and Quinn Kelly, two.
