Madonna and Guy give their marriage a faith lift by renewing their vows

Madonna and Guy Ritchie made a last-ditch attempt to save their troubled marriage by renewing their wedding vows at a private kabbalah ceremony in London, I can report.

Madonna, who was 50 last weekend, is understood to have flown her kabbalah teacher over from Los Angeles to conduct the proceedings.

‘It was very intimate and both Guy and Madonna made vows to each other and pledged to try to make their marriage strong again,’ says my source.

The ceremony lasted about an hour. They turned up at the kabbalah centre in their gym clothes and changed into white robes. Everyone at the centre hopes that they will get through their recent rough patch.’

Madonna is about to start a world tour, while Guy is planning his 40th birthday party on September 10 at the Punch Bowl pub in Mayfair, which he owns with his wife.
