Sexy Rihanna at the NRJ Music Awards

Hot on the heels of her showstopping performance at the celebrity 'Hope for Haiti' telethon, RIhanna yesterday dazzled the crowds on the red carpet at France's top music awards in Cannes.

The singer wore a two-tiered floor-length dress with a layer of large crocheted white flowers that rested on a shimmering silver-grey underlay to the NRJ music awards, where she picked up the gong for best international female.

The unusual high-collared dress had a low back that flaunted the tattoo that trails down the nape of her neck to her right shoulder-blade.

And despite slipping on a platform at the back of the stage after her performance of 'Russian Roulette' she picked herself up and walked off unharmed.

The evening was not without controversy however, after the Black Eyed Peas were mistakenly named Best International Group.

There was a collective boo when it was later revealed that an error had been made and German band Tokio Hotel were the real winners.
