Britney's new bra faux pas - she's wearing one, but it's luminous yellow

Pop princess Britney Spears showed her questionable sense of fashion during another day out shopping flanked by dozens of paparazzi and fans.

The troubled 26-year-old singer teamed a too-tight white polo neck with a luminous yellow bra which looked too small for her ample chest.

In what could be seen as a metaphor for the singer's life - it seems that even when Britney does get some support, it's of the wrong kind.

Britney wore the questionable outfit to dinner with three friends at Dominicks but sneaked out of a back entrance at the end of the night.

The luminous bra ensured the star was the centre of attention, but it was an improvement from the previous day, when the mother-of-two went completely bra-less again while out shopping on Robertson Boulevard in Beverley Hills.

It didn't help that she wore a plunging black top.

But last night at least as she returned to the same restaurant, it appeared that she had realised her error and found a bra that didn't show through her top.

Britney was obviously excited by her new purchases from Paige Denim store – as she wore her new blue and white stripe top as she was escorted out of the store by LA police.

Seven LAPD cars and two tourist buses, as well as dozens of snappers, were crowding around the store to catch a glimpse of the troubled popstar.

The Oops! I did it again singer has toned down her antics since her father Jamie took control of her affairs.

Earlier this week, she appeared calm and relaxed as she visited Tracey Ross in Sunset Plaza - and was again surrounded by photographers.

Spears - who appeared to be wearing her T-shirt inside-out - was led away by a police escort.

The star has a love-hate relationship with photographers and famously begun dating Birmingham paparazzo Adnan Ghalib after he spent months tracking and photographing her.

Earlier it was reported that Spears was reuniting with her former business manager Larry Rudolph.

The singer - who worked for several years with the man credited with shaping her early success - is said to have had a string of meetings with the troubled star.

And now they have decided to pair up again, sources say, in a bid to re-launch the Toxic star's career.

A source told television news network E!: "It's true.

"They are working together." Spears, 26, and Rudolph parted ways last year after Spears blamed him for encouraging her to check into the Promises rehab centre in Malibu, California.

The svengali is mainly credited with discovering the then-child star and transforming her from Disney performer to international pop sensation.

They worked together for around nine years - until she wed former backing dancer, Kevin Federline in 2004.

But one day after she split from Federline in November 2006, Rudolph was seen with Spears again.

When they parted ways again last year, her father sent an email to the New York Post supporting Rudolph despite his daughter's decision to sever their relationship.

"When Larry Rudolph talked Britney into going into rehab, he was doing what her mother, father and team of professionals with over 100 years of experience knew needed to be done," Jamie wrote.

"She was out of control. Larry was the one chosen by the team to roll up his sleeves and deliver the message, to help save her life."

Jamie Spears is currently a co-conservator over his daughter's affairs.

Spears most recent "manager" was Sam Lutfi - who was blamed by many for her well publicised troubles.
