Catherine Zeta-Jones is definitely she shoots seductive new shampoo ad

Catherine Zeta-Jones appears to have kicked up a storm in the Czech Republic.

The actress pulled out the stops for a Lux shampoo commercial, filmed in Prague yesterday.

Mobbed by a swarm of paparazzi, the Welsh-born star, married to veteran actor Michael Douglas, showed off her her raven locks in a Hollywood red-carpet themed shoot.

Catherine, 39, looked stunning in floor-length black gown, revealing her svelte physique, as she posed for cameras on the steps of Rudolfinum music hall.

The mother-of-two sported a new fringe and opted for unusually poker-straight hair, perhaps in preparation of her new role as Cleopatra, co-starring Hugh Jackman.

The pair are also set to star in the upcoming musical Cleo, a 1920s version of the life of Cleopatra, Julius Caesar and Marc Antony.

Zeta-Jones is no stranger to musicals, having starred in the West End production of 42nd Street in the late Eighties and securing an Oscar for her portrayal of murderess Velma Kelly in the 2002 big screen adaptation of Chicago.

She has also played a famous female leader before, Catherine The Great, in a 1995 TV movie.

The new movie, entitled Cleo, will feature a soundtrack by punk band Guided By Voices.

Cleopatra's life was famously brought to cinemas in 1963 with Dame Elizabeth Taylor playing the tragic queen opposite Richard Burton as Marc Antony.
