Bikini-clad Jade Goody chases away the winter blues with a sunshine break

Jade Goody appears to have put her terrible year behind her to enjoy a winter break with boyfriend Jack Tweed.

The reality television star strutted along the beach in Dubai wearing a black bikini which left little to the imagination.

Just as well, as she appeared to be back on the road to her former slimline self, with the ex-Big Brother housemate appearing to have shed some of the pounds she had piled on in previous months.

Together again: Jade and Jack were reconciled on the trip to Dubai where they attended the launch of nightclub The Embassy

Jade and Jack were in The United Arab Emirates for the launch of a nightclub in the seven star Emirates Palace Hotel last month.

And since returning from her break Jade appears to be taking back control of her body after she revealed her addiction to slimming pills in an ongoing battle to control her weight last year.

The troubled star, who was cruelly dubbed 'Miss Piggy' after her 2002 appearance on the reality show, says she was hooked on tablets containing amphetamine.

However, this time the mother-of-two signed up for a fortnight in a weightloss boot camp costing £950 a week in a new bid to lose weight.

Shrinking assets: Jade attended a boot-camp to shed some of the excess weight she was carrying

In an interview with Now! magazine, Jade said: "My boys joked: 'Mummy's off to Fat Camp'. I was so scared about tiny portions and army-style workouts that I stopped for a Burger King on the way!"

At the boot camp Jade was given nutrition lessons, woken up at 5.30am for PE-type games led by army-style instructors.

She said: "We climbed mountains, went on 14-mile walks, boxed, played rugby and football and did squats., lunges and sit-ups.

"On my third day, when we tried abseiling, I burst into tears and said I couldn't carry on, but everyone cheered me on and I ended up loving it.

"After seven days I'd lost a stone. My stomach, thighs and face looked thinner. After 14 days at the camp, I'd lost another stone.

"Now I jog every morning and haven't touched a takeaway or a fizzy drink."
