Rani Mukherjee visited the radio station to promote her upcoming film ‘Dil Bole Hadippa’
Radio Mirchi listeners got a chance to say ‘Hadippa’ with the gorgeous Rani Mukherjee who visited the studio today.
In yet another exciting contest aired by Mumbai’s hottest radio station, Radio Mirch – 98.3 FM, invited its listeners to simply give meanings of Punjabi words used in the film ‘Dil Bole Hadippa’ and get a chance to meet and interact with Rani on ‘Sunset Samosa’ with RJ Suren.
As part of the contest, Radio Mirchi RJ’s asked listeners to sms the meanings of Punjabi words that were heard in the songs of the film.
RJ Sangeeta was also heard speaking with youngsters at popular hangout places and trying to extract the meanings of words such as ‘batterr’, ‘fukrre’ and ‘Chabbi ja’

The movie promises to be nothing short of an entertainer, just like Radio Mirchi’s ‘Hadippa’ contest that turned out to be a laugh riot with listeners calling in and msging to give hilarious meanings and never heard before interpretations of Punjabi words.
“The film is beautifully crafted and is yet very simple, funny and sweet just like Radio Mirchi’s contest. I simply loved the ‘Hadippa’ contest that was run on air and found the meanings given by people of the word ‘fukrre’ extremely hilarious” said Rani.
The movie which stars Rani playing the dual role of a Sardar boy and a young Punjabi girl, is touted to be the next big release, also starring current heartthrob Shahid Kapoor. It is scheduled to release later this month.
Till then the music that is already topping charts with numbers like ‘Discowale khisko’, ‘Hadippa’ and ‘Bhangra bistar’ can be heard on Mumbai’s hottest radio station.
