Charlize, who famously won an Oscar after her outstanding performance as serial killer Aileen Wuornos in the 2003 film Monster, is celebrated in the magazine's November issue with a sexy photo shoot.
But she says her looks have not always helped her make good career choices.

"Reindeer Games," she laughed. "That was a bad, bad, bad movie. But even though the movie might suck, I got to work with John Frankenheimer.
"I wasn't lying to myself that's why I did it. I mean, he directed The Manchurian Candidate, which is like the movie of all movies."

Theron, who will next be seen in the anti-globalism drama The Battle for Seattle, directed by her Irish boyfriend and Head in the Clouds co-star Stuart Townsend, 34, also used the magazine to take a swipe at the US government.
"I grew up in a country that learned the lesson that you can't impose your way of life on 26 different kinds of people just because you call yourself righteous," she said.
"I think there are lessons this country still has to learn."
