Helena Christensen has never lived with a man.The Danish supermodel - who has a seven-year-old son, Mingus, with ex-boyfriend Norman Reedus - is much happier living alone than co-habiting with a lover.
She said: "I've never married even though the press always says I was married and divorced. I've never even lived with anyone, including the father of my son."
The 38-year-old beauty admits she can become "pathetic" when she starts dating a new man.
She said: "It's not easy to open up to someone and not worry about being crushed. And, nowadays, with texts and whatever, it's so easy to make mistakes. We all do it. We all become pathetic."
Helena also revealed she likes to test how compatible she is with a prospective boyfriend by getting drunk with them.
She said: "It's always a good thing to get a little tipsy together, because if someone can still be cool when they're a bit drunk, that's a good test. And then when you have to do something mundane and routine and boring, and see how that goes. You know, are we going to be able to change nappies together?"
